Oğul Can Öztunç is an multi directional designer parished by playful architectural imagination. Engaged with diverse fields in art, architecture and design practices, he has been carrying out:
(A) Piknik Works which focuses on finding out new ways to tell stories of the 21st century using the act of drawing as its main medium.
(B) Irregular Research Activities driven by multiplexed workshops, aiming to produce some knowledge using unaccustomed methods and uncommon pedagody outside borders of regular Academic Environment.
(C) Architectural Practice that grows with project based team figurations, designated to find a sophisticated spatial language while taking humble input from everyday life.
(D) Written Notes on various fields regarding some wanderings discovering histories, theories and practices.
(E) Illustration and Graphic Design with commisioned works and self-induced narratives.

Oğul has been graduated from Istanbul Technical University Architecture Dpt. with best graduation project honours in 2014. Worked in Istanbul Bilgi University Dpt. of Architecture gaining valuable experience in the treasured academical environment of the Institute for three years, taking role in drawing, architectural design and urban design studios. Worked with TEGET Architectural Office for two years gaining practical and technical experience on variable scales of projects. Founded Piknik Works with Atıl Aggündüz in 2017.

He won several awards in national and  international competitions including 1st prize in Archiprix 2014, HPP Travel Prize, IABA International Young Architects Competition, Un’Idea, Una Citta International Competition.
Had chance to showcase his work and research in several solo and group publications & exhibitions including printed book 'Günlük Hayat Dedektifleri: Bomonti Hadisesi', 'Drawing Futures' book, conference and exhibition held by UCL Bartlett in London, Solo exhibitions of 'Performative Drawing' project with Piknik Works in Istanbul, Stockholm and Jerusalem, Istanbul Design Biennale, magazines such as Bauwelt and online platforms such as Designboom.
Participated and tutored in several workshop environments including EASA (European Architecture Students Assembly), AA Visiting School, Bilgi International Summer School, VBenzeri Design Marathon, CUP Critical Urban Practice Workshops and Liege Real Estate Architecture Summer School.
